On 30th November 2026, the Ramakrishna Mission Swami Vivekananda’s Ancestral House and Cultural Centre organized a solemn “Gita Jnana Yajna” to mark the auspicious occasion of Gita Jayanti.
The program commenced with registration and welcome tea, followed by an introductory address delivered by the Secretary of the Centre, Swami Jnanalokananda. Subsequently, the participants engaged in the collective chanting of the entire Bhagavad Gita, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere.
At the conclusion of the chanting, the traditional Gita Aarati was sung, after which Swami Jnanalokananda offered words of gratitude in the thanksgiving session.
A total of 230 participants attended the event, including 15 children from the Balak Sangha and Kanya Sangha. To conclude the program, lunch packets were distributed to all attendees.
